Fire Brick Liners
Fire Bricks are used to line the inside of the stove fire box. They help to insulate the internal sides of the stove from the heat and reflect heat back towards the front of the stove, maximising heat output to the room. The bricks in the Scanline 7b are manufactured by Stove Care and Repair from Dupre Minerals Vermiculite. A high quality, high density vermiculite board which will withstand temperatures in excess of 1100°C (2010°F). Please note this is not an original product.
