Fortafix Flex Seal – TR – Heat Resistant Silicone 310ml in Black
Description
Flex seal TR is a temperature rated silicone adhesive and sealant used for applications where sealing or fixing of materials is required to form a heat-resistant joint or bond.
Other features include high flexibility, water/weather resistance and fixing of materials with differing thermal expansion. Offers adhesion to most building substrates including glass and other glazed surfaces. PVCu, metals wood and concrete.
Typical Applications
Domestic and industrial installations and maintenance where heat and weather resistance is required.
i.e. External flue and flashings sealing, oven panels and glass fixing.
Stove rope installation.
Steam and fume duct systems.
Directions for use
Surfaces should be clean dry, and dust free. Apply between +5°C and +40°C
(Skin time 10 minutes approximately)
Full cure approximately 24 hours per 2-3mm at 23°C
Limitations
It is the responsibility of the user to determine suitability of use. It is recommended that a sample test be undertaken before application.
Operating temperature -40°C + 300°C
