Manufactured by Stove Care and Repair from Dupre Minerals Vermiculite. A high quality, high density vermiculite board which will withstand temperatures in excess of 1100°C (2010°F).
How to change the vermiculite step by step:
– Open the door.
– Remove the bottom plates and the cast iron grid.
– Remove the front side plates by pulling them out at the bottom.
– Remove the side plates furthest away from you.
– Finally remove the remaining plates.
– Install the new vermiculite in the opposite order as described above. Be careful when mounting the
vermiculite, it is a very porous material.
